Introduction
Get Started
Rent, pay for, operate, and renew a human-readable NEAR account.
Rent
- Search a TLA namespace for an available name.
- Review the quote. Annual rent uses the USD band for the complete account-name length, then converts to NEAR at quote time. The namespace’s premium category can apply its product multiplier. The first rental also includes the 0.01 NEAR account-creation deposit.
- Pay through an available checkout method.
- The account is created and becomes available to operate.
If payment settles but the account cannot be delivered, the order records a claimable refund.
Operate
The operated account has no access key. You operate it from a wallet you already control by calling its wallet contract. It supports standard transfers and contract calls across NEAR.
Typical uses include:
- Sending NEAR
- Calling application and DeFi contracts
- Delegating to staking pools
- Signing in to supported applications and proving account ownership
Renew
Rent is annual. Renewing extends the lease from its existing expiry, so an early renewal does not shorten the current term. The interface should show the exact expiry and renewal deadline for the namespace you use.
