Opening TLAs
Business TLAs
Business TLAs give established projects allocated control of a TLA namespace that matches their brand.
How It Works
- A company or project requests allocation of a TLA through the House of Stake, such as Sovereign requesting
sovereign. - The allocation is approved through the House of Stake’s governance process.
- If approved, the company pays the allocation fee and ongoing annual TLA rent.
- The company controls who can rent names within its namespace, along with pricing and access.
- The licensee controls the payout account for its namespace and can schedule retraction with seven days’ notice.
Governance responsibilities and voting mechanics are intentionally described at a high level. The contract source defines the council and admin roles and the gates on their actions.
